Bubbling, sizzling, roasting ......with Julie Biuso

Bubbling, sizzling, roasting ...Yep, cooking is one way to keep warm. While we have enjoyed the balmiest autumn ever (23°C at my place yesterday), the cold is coming, or so the weatherman has threatened. I've set the pots bubbling at my place, roasting chestnuts, making feijoa chutney and coming to grips with spaghetti squash, with a surprisingly delicious result. And there's an easy but impressive pear & haloumi salad posted here, too, which makes the most of the gorgeous baby pears around at the moment, and information on witloof. Or is it chicory? Or should it be called endive? Now that's a riddle that is easily solved. Happy cooking, and eating.
