July is an exciting month, as we have just indexed 5,000 cookbooks! Thank you to all of our members who have taken the time to index books to help us reach this milestone. We're continuing to expand our indexed magazines as well, with two new titles added this month. We also have a great feature by author Diana Henry, another cookbook store profile, your favorite lists, and of course giveaways and author articles.

5,000th book indexed!
The Feast Goes OnIf you needed an excuse to buy another cookbook, here is one: this month we indexed cookbook number 5,000 on the site. So which book is lucky number 5,000? It's Monday Morning Cooking Club: The Feast Goes On, an Australian book that Yotam Ottolenghi calls "a remarkable excursion into the realm of comfort food."

EYB indexers have been working diligently to reach this milestone, so thanks goes to them for their hard work. They have received assistance from EYB members who have indexed their favorite cookbooks; they deserve a thank you as well. Remember, if you have a book that you can't wait to see indexed, you can request that EYB do the indexing or that you do it yourself.
Me and my cookbooks - Diana Henry
This month's installment highlights author and cookbook collector Diana Henry, whose collection tops 4,000 volumes. Diana is no stranger to EYB Members; her cookbooks can be found on hundreds of member Bookshelves. (The EYB Member Forum also features a topic on cooking with Diana Henry recipes.) Diana's latest book, A Change of Appetite, was published earlier this year in the U.K. and is now available in the U.S. The article features excerpts from a touching post from Diana's website about her love of food writing and cookbooks.
